Learner Discipline, Sanctions, and Plagiarism Policy


Course 2 Certify is committed to fostering a positive and productive learning environment for all our students. In order to maintain high standards of academic integrity and ensure a conducive learning atmosphere, this policy outlines the guidelines and expectations regarding learner discipline, sanctions, and plagiarism.

  • 2.1 Attendance and Participation:
    • Students are expected to attend all scheduled online training sessions, actively participate in discussions, and complete assigned coursework in a timely manner.
    • It is the responsibility of the student to inform Course 2 Certify promptly if they are unable to attend a session or if they are facing challenges that may impact their participation.
  • 2.2 Academic Responsibility:
    • Students are expected to take responsibility for their own learning, actively engage with the course materials, and seek support when needed.
    • If a student requires additional assistance or accommodations, it is their responsibility to request support from Course 2 Certify in a timely manner.
  • 2.3 Coursework Completion:
    • Students are required to complete all assessments, assignments, and examinations honestly and independently.
    • Plagiarism and any form of academic dishonesty are strictly prohibited.
  • 3.1 Definition:
    • Plagiarism is the act of presenting someone else’s work, ideas, or intellectual property as one’s own without giving appropriate credit.
  • 3.2 Consequences:
    • Plagiarism is a serious offense and will result in disciplinary action, which may include but is not limited to:
      • Academic penalties such as a reduced grade for the assignment or failure of the course.
      • Formal written warning.
      • Suspension from the course.
  • 4.1 Code of Conduct:
    • Students are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes respectful and professional behavior towards instructors and fellow learners.
  • 4.2 Disciplinary Measures:
    • Violations of the code of conduct may result in disciplinary measures, including verbal warnings, written warnings, temporary suspension, or expulsion from the course.
  • 4.3 Appeals Process:
    • Students have the right to appeal disciplinary actions. The appeals process will be outlined in a separate appeals policy.
  • 5.1 Student Support Services:
    • Course 2 Certify provides support services to help students succeed. Students are encouraged to utilise these resources when facing challenges.
